GOOD MORRRNINGGGG~~~~~

This is the view of the early morning I saw through the window in my room the day after yesterday .

It's hard to tell but there certainly were a pool and jacuzzi outside.

Residents in this living complex can go there whenever they want.

Today's the day to go to the school for the first time!

CEL : The school I went

The name of this language school is CEL which stands for College of English Language.

I chose this school because firstly it's located near the santa monica beach,

and second my agent told me that there'll be not many students and no many Koreans.

Well.. that was quite wrong and that pissed me off in the first place.

I really wanted some place where I don't have any access to use Korean (except with my familys and friends in Korea).

On top of that, my agent kind of .. tricked me, right?

But later, it was fine because I realized they are really friendly and kind people.

 That Korean students were there because of the internship program;

they should study english for three months and then got a job and work.

(And in the beginning of the October, they all left so I was the only Korean left.)

This is the hallway of the school.

It had 8 classes in total back then.

They have the replacement test on every mondays and graduation event on every fridays.

Since that was monday, I got a replacement test in the class named Las Vegas.

I replaced at the highest level class; advanced B, Toefl class.

This was my class and she was my teacher!

I still keep in touch with her.

She is the best teacher in this school in my opinion.

Other teachers are good of course, but I can tell that she is the most passionate person to her career as an english teacher!

Though her class was a little bit challenging, it was truely worth it.

She helped me improving a lot!!!

(There's piles of toefl book that I'm using right now!)

This is how the information desk, the main part of the school looks like.

They had activity board at the end of the hallway,

so that the students could check what activities they had for that specific week and then apply for that.

Mostly they had the activites from the sports games such as LA dodgers stuffs like that,

to the trip to Las Vegas in cheaper price!

I went to Las Vegas through this activity program with friends, and I'm going to post it later! ;)

.

.

Well! This is it! All about the school!

I arrived at the school as first because it was the first day of it!

So I could met all the students who came after me.

We did some ice-breaking chats.

I remember that it was so .. awkward ใ…‹ใ…‹ใ…‹ใ…‹

Third Promenade Street

After we took the replacement test together,

we took a look at the third promenade street which is near the school,

and then had lunch together!

First meal in Lemonade

This is the first meal I had in LA with friends, and ...

I left almost half of it!

I was still suffering from jet lag and because the surrounding environment and the people around me had changed all of a sudden

I needed some time to adjust to it....

Otherwise, I could have gotten a stomachache! haha

Me at the very front holding a camera!

Behind me, her name is Laura who came from Germany.

Behind her, I don't recall his name because he left LA after a week or two? Sorry man ahaha

Next to that guy, she's Yuki from Japan.

In front of her, Lea from France.

In front of her, his name is Tristan from Switzerland.

And lastly, our Miyu from Japan.

I still keep in touch with Laura, Tristan, and Miyu.

They are my besties โ™ก

I had so many good memories with them,

and you can see them a lot in my posts from now on!

.

.

.

.

After having lunch, we went to the Santa monica beach together, holding coffee :)

This is the very first caramel frappuccino from starbucks.

This is my favorite drink in starbucks and it was sweeter than that from Korea.

Santa monica beach

I went to this beach almost every day after day2 of course,

because it is located really close to the school!

I was not a beach person at all before I went to this santa monica beach,..

But now I love the beach!

I miss it soooo much... ใ… ใ…

.

.

.

.

After our little enjoyment in the beach, we went back to our houses cuz of the jet lag still,

and I just took a picture of this button.

It was annoying becuz you need to push it everytime you want to cross the street!

 But interesting, haha.

.

.

.

And in the evening, my host mother prepared me a really good and healthy dish as a dinner!

Even though I'm not a veggie person, I finished the dish.

Probably I wouldn't have wanted to be known as a child who eats only what she wants... ใ…‹ใ…‹ใ…‹ใ…‹ใ…‹

But mainly because the food was good!

She's such a good cook!

.

I probably slept early this night too.

I remember that I had been suffered from the jat lag for like a week.

See ya tomorrow

Good night :)
